Protect the Boss OST: I'll Protect You - Jaejoong

Wow! I know Jaejoong for a while but I don't really listen to his (or their) songs that's why this one surprised me. I never thought he has such amazing voice... I'm speechless. O.o

Jaejoong who also play a role in this Wednesday-Thursday drama called Protect the Boss did a song for its official soundtrack (not sure yet when the album will be released). Listen to it below and fall in love with him (lol).



I think this song deserve a spot on my music player. *grins*

Featured Artist: Kim Jaejoong

More known as Jaejoong or Hero, this guys is definitely one of the hottest guys in KPOP industry. He's currently a member of a group called JYP which composes of two other male members. Before being in this band, he's the main vocalist of Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK for short). After taking a long break, Jaejoong and two other members namely Junsu and Yoonchu from DBSK formed a new group (JYJ).



Jaejoong is born on January 26, 1986, at Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. He's actually an adopted child since he was given up by his parents at an early age. He auditioned for SM Entertainment at the age of 15. His success all over South Korea then Asia began from then on.



Aside from being a singer, Jaejoong has also been directing their group's performances and concert. He also started acting as early as 2004 (Taegeukgi).

Wow. After listening to this, my respect for these girls climbed up few notches. This is one of the greatest music covers I've ever heard. What I love most about this cover is the arrangement and the instruments used. So so awesome!

Protect the Boss Trailers

Here are the trailers of the upcoming Korean drama called Protect the Boss which will start airing next week, August 3, 2011.





Ji Sung plays the role of an irresponsible heir who may be "dethroned" by his much more capable (and ahem, hot, lol) cousin who's being played by Jaejoong of JYJ.

Choi Kang Hee's role is the boss' (Ji Sung) secretary-slash-bodyguard who has a crush on the handsome cousin. LOL Wang Ji Hye completes the main casts as she plays the role of a lawyer entangled in their circle.

Rain's Manila Concert

Last weekend, Rain had a concert at Mall of Asia concert grounds with U-Kiss and local balladeer Christian Bautista.

Here are some pictures and videos I took. Pictures are blurred and videos aren't that good because I'm only using a digicam (Samsung ES60).

Runaway Poster

The official poster for the upcoming drama Runaway is out.

The story is about the huge amount of money that was missing during the Korean war that has resurfaced again after many years.

The drama will be aired every Wednesdays and Thursdays once Baker King / Kim Tak-gu concludes.

Lee Junki Rehearsal Accident

Lee Junki who is currently serving the army and preparing for a stage play entitled Voyage of Life co-produced by Ministry of National Defense and Korea Musical Theatre Association got into an accident during the rehearsal of the said play and was reported to have 50 stitches on his forehead.



The actor accidentally hit his head on a metal frame supporting a prop on the stage when they're rehearsing. The accident happened during the transition to the next scene when the lights were dimmed. Due to darkness, the incident happened.

He was transferred to the ER right away and had undergone surgery that lasted for two hours. They had stitched his forehead to prevent the wound from opening.

Although his doctors advice him to rest for now, he still performed on their premiere last August 21. The play will run until August 29th.

Rain's Philippines Concert

New group consisting of teenage girls named GP Basic will soon be releasing their own album. They already released a single plus MV for their song Game few days back.

BoA to Play the Lead Role in a Hollywood Movie

BoA was said to be having a debut movie in the US according to her management SM Entertainment. The movie was said to be about dancing and would be directed by Step up and Save the Last Dance director, Duane Adler.



The director is still looking for a lead male actor. Filming is said to start early 2011.
